Job Description

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Therapist Supervisor serving the Nebo and Provo School Districts and the PREP (Prevention and Recovery from Early Psychosis) Team. Based in Provo, Utah, this onsite leadership role supports school-based mental health services for youth across Utah County. You will supervise therapists and case managers, provide clinical guidance, and support coordinated, family-centered care for children, adolescents, and young adults in school, home, and community settings. The PREP Team provides specialized support for individuals ages 13–26 experiencing a first episode of psychosis or who are at high risk of developing psychosis through therapy, case management, medication management, family support, and education/employment services. This position offers a competitive pay range of $36.54–$46.28/hour and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth and families throughout the community.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $36.54–$46.28 DOE and Licensure

What You'll Do as a Therapist Supervisor

  • Support program development and ongoing quality improvement.
  • Provide first-line supervision: scheduling, hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and daily staff support.
  • Work with parents, guardians, and clients to tailor services to individual needs.
  • Oversee facility operations for youth or adults in crisis and coordinate programming with partner agencies.
  • Provide crisis interventions and help develop program policies and procedures.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise Master Therapists II and Interns toward licensure.
  • Complete intake assessments, psychosocial histories, and required clinical documentation.
  • Coordinate care with hospitals and community providers to ensure continuity of services.
  • Participate in staff meetings, consultations, and incident reviews, monitor diagnoses, goals, and progress notes.
  • Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with policies and audit standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Must be fully licensed in the state of Utah as an LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT
  • Experience providing clinical supervision (preference given to those able to supervise toward licensure)
  • Strong skills in program development, crisis management, and therapeutic best practices
  • Ability to supervise, train, evaluate, and support therapists, interns, and program staff
  • Knowledge of documentation standards, treatment planning, and audit requirements
  • Ability to conduct intake assessments, gather psychosocial histories, and coordinate care
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
