Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating audiology services within a healthcare facility, audiology clinic, or hearing center.Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
Essential Functions
-Provide strong leadership to the audiology team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
-Recruit, train, and supervise audiologists, technicians, and administrative staff.
-Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback for professional development.
-Ensure staff compliance with regulations, policies, and ethical guidelines.
-Oversee the provision of comprehensive audiological evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
-Develop and implement audiology service protocols and procedures to optimize patient care.

Education
Master's Degree Audiology required

Licenses and Credentials
Audiologist [State License] - required
Experience
Experience in audiology practice, preferably with some years of experience as a licensed audiologist. 3-5 years required and Experience in a leadership or supervisory role. 2-3 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a team of audiologists and support staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Sound decision-making skills and the ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of audiological principles, diagnostic techniques, and treatment options for patients of all ages.
- Proficiency in performing audiological evaluations, interpreting test results, and developing appropriate treatment plans.
