Job Description
Overview
The Senior Electronics Engineer – Digital Hardware Design leads the end‑to‑end development of advanced digital electronic systems for complex products and embedded platforms. This role oversees the full hardware lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture conceptualization, detailed schematic design, simulation, PCB layout collaboration, prototyping, validation, and transition to production.
The engineer designs high‑performance digital circuitry such as microprocessors and microcontrollers, FPGAs, high‑speed interfaces, memory subsystems, communication buses, and power‑efficient board‑level architectures. Working closely with firmware, systems, mechanical, and manufacturing teams, this role ensures robust, scalable, and cost‑effective hardware solutions.
In addition to technical execution, the Senior Electronics Engineer provides leadership across projects, mentors junior engineers, drives rigorous design reviews, and ensures compliance with industry and regulatory standards (e.g., IPC, EMC/EMI). Success in this position requires deep expertise in digital electronics, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to deliver high‑quality designs in a fast‑paced engineering environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct research, design, development, verification and test of electronic hardware
Contribute to the end‑to‑end design, development, and optimization of audio products, ensuring high performance, quality, and user experience.
Design new and maintain existing products
Develop technical specifications, schematic diagrams, PCB layout guidelines, verification plans and schedules
Analyze design using simulation tools and models to verify conformance to product requirements and design standards
Advise management on all project development aspects
Collaborate with program management, PCB design, mechanical, firmware, verification and compliance teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience in analog and digital electronics design
Experience with Bus interfaces such as I2S, SPDIF, HDMI, USB, MIPI, DDR memory
