MPS Group, Inc., is seeking multiple Field Technician's to join our team and be dispatched from our Headquarters located in Farmington Hills, MI. These individuals will be responsible to perform manual labor in industrial settings.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Perform manual labor duties using manual tools, such as shovels, rakes, scrapers, squeegees, and brooms, to clean paint pits, eliminators, dip tanks, process tanks, and conveyors at host facilities.
- Work in industrial settings, including the automotive industry, steel mills, and power plants.
- Wear proper PPE required for the assigned tasks.
- Work flexible hours and be willing to travel as necessary to assigned job sites, with company transport available outside of Metro Detroit.
- Adapt to a position with no set schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions.
- Ability to follow safe work protocols commercial and industrial processes and adhere to the personal protection requirements of the assigned job.
- Ability to pass company training programs when assigned (OSHA 10, 40hr HAZWOPER, DOT -RCRA, forklift aerial lift).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability able to pass a drug test.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and handle various types of industrial cleaning equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Driver’s license and or Chauffer’s license.
- High School Diploma preferred.
