Understand the product roadmap and user journeys to work with security experts in providing safety requirements, milestones, and long-term protection strategies.
Conduct proactive red teaming or pre-mortem sessions to identify potential harm vectors and help ideate safety-by-design solutions that prevent abuse before it occurs.
Identify, collect, and prioritize requirements to secure experiences by design and build protection mechanisms for potential downstream abuse.
Act as the central node between Engineering, Legal, and Policy teams to resolve conflicting priorities between product velocity and user safety.
Monitor launch results, track performance against key safety metrics, identify insights, and implement improvement strategies until the product reaches a stabilized state.
