The Koch Associate Program (KAP) is a career accelerator for early to mid-career professionals with a drive to tackle our country’s most pressing challenges in more effective, principled ways. KAP equips associates with the tools, mindsets, and community to succeed as social entrepreneurs—individuals excited to find new and better ways to break barriers and eliminate injustice. Associates spend one day each week engaging in experiential learning with Stand Together Fellowships and work at one of our many partner organizations the rest of the week. Rather than merely managing the status quo, we work to identify and dismantle the regulatory barriers that inhibit innovation, empowering founders and policymakers to build a future of abundance.
We are seeking a Policy Analyst to amplify our energy research and education efforts. In this role, you will translate complex technical and regulatory hurdles into actionable policy ideas, with a primary focus on state-level energy reforms. We are looking for an individual who rejects degrowth mindsets and is eager to grow the energy abundance movement through market-based solutions. We operate with a startup mentality. As an agile team, we value proactivity and the ability to pivot across different verticals as needed to advance our mission.
There is a preference for in person work in Washington D.C., but will consider remote work for exceptional candidates.
