Based in Milan, you will join the European Markets & Health team, where we have structured the CEO office team (reporting directly to the CEO), to support him in the execution of his role in all of its shades
The Europe & Health Chief of Staff role supports the CEO in overseeing and leading cross-country strategic projects, organizing and coordinating key stakeholders’ relationship management; driving internal and external positioning efforts
The role is a tremendous opportunity to work in a global environment, in close contact with AXA top management, on a variety of business topics and projects
The role-holder will build experience of working on strategic and visible topics, building understanding of key priorities across the Group, whilst enlarging its network across all AXA entities
The candidate must be well-structured, results-driven, a team player and creative
The ideal individual shall have the ability to balance among multiple priorities, strong communication and relationship skills and be able to work independently under pressure due to the wide variety of activities and confidential matters
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES CEO support: organize CEO’s daily activities, including assisting in decision-making and program management coordination; key meetings preparation; key stakeholders’ management; addressing incoming issues and concerns; communicating on behalf of the CEO; Management Committees and AXA Group Board preparation: support in the organization of AXA Europe & Health MC (topic selection, content, …); prepare CEO for AXA Group Management Committees and AXA Board sessions (e.g., strategic updates on Europe & Health); Strategic projects execution: work on specific cross-country strategic projects to ensure execution, reviewing, designing and implementing actions; Support in internal & external positioning: collaborate with CEO’s first line & other teams (especially Communication) to ensure internal and external visibility, through events, interviews, in-country visits; prepare CEO for Investor meetings and market disclosure; Alignment with key stakeholders: ensure alignment with other teams across AXA Group, European Market & Health and local levels (i.e., teams in the different geographies); providing senior leadership with insight and analysis
YOUR PROFILE Technical and professional skills: 5+ years in Strategy/project management/consultants or equivalent experience; Professional knowledge of Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel); Professional level of English (Italian and French desirable); Significant experience in written and verbal communication in English; Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments in a productive manner (especially with higher seniorities); Solid time management, multi-tasking and project management skills; Effective influencing skills and capacity to engage different audiences; Experience in a multicultural, transversal, or corporate center environment; Skills in building effective and engaging proposals and papers
