Position Overview
Are you ready to help shape the next generation of lacrosse players? As a Toca Lacrosse Coach, you’ll introduce kids (ages 3–13) to the fundamentals of lacrosse in a fun, active, and team-oriented environment. You’ll lead energetic sessions focused on skills, movement, and sportsmanship — helping kids gain confidence while developing both athletic and personal skills.
Your Game Plan
On the Field: Coaching & Development (60%)

Lead high-energy lacrosse classes focused on stick skills, passing, catching, shooting, and teamwork

Use age-appropriate drills and fun games to keep young players engaged and improving

Adapt instruction to suit various experience levels, ensuring every session is both educational and enjoyable
Team Spirit: Motivation & Communication (20%)

Create a supportive environment that motivates kids and builds a love for lacrosse

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, celebrating progress and building community
Game Day Prep: Safety & Setup (15%)

Prepare field space and equipment before each class
-
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure, positive environment for every player
Off the Field: Admin & Support (5%)

Manage class attendance, update rosters, and complete basic player evaluations

Support the program team with additional tasks or setup as needed
What You Bring to the Team
-
Background in lacrosse (playing or coaching experience)
-
Passion for working with kids and helping them grow through sport

Strong communication and leadership skills
-
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (but not required)

Physically able to bend, kneel, move, and stand for extended periods
-
Ability to lift and carry equipment (30+ lbs) and stay active throughout multiple sessions
