Assistant Dining Manager
 
Role Information
Location: Concord Reserve | 2154 Dover Center Road, Westlake, OH
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday with every other weekend | 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM

You, our Ideal Candidate
You are a strong leader and experienced food service professional who excels at supporting dining operations and team development. You lead with service in mind, ensure high-quality dining experiences for residents, and bring a hands-on approach to training, events, and day-to-day service delivery.
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations of a public dining venue (Café or Main Dining Room) during evening service
  • Provide full coverage for both venues in the Manager's absence
  • Train all new Dining Servers in public dining areas
  • Assist with planning, staffing, and execution of all catering events
  • Develop and submit bi-weekly dining staff schedules
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and facility regulations
  • Resolve resident billing issues and communicate solutions to Dining Services Manager
  • Help establish service standards, logistics, and delivery methods
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in fine dining or similar setting (retirement community, hospital, etc.) preferred
  • Strong customer service background and orientation
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
