Job Description

What you’ll do:

Project Procurement function plays a strategic role to enable Projects activity to operate successfully.
As part of our continuous improvement journey, this role will focus on enabling successful execution of complex engineering projects by managing project-specific procurement activities across both pre-order and post-order phases. This inclused supplier identification from ASL and also new suppliers onboarding in close collaboration with the Commodity Manager, RFQ preparation, negotiation, and post-order performance management. The role bridges technical requirements with strategic sourcing, collaborating closely with engineering teams, Project teams and Commodity Managers to deliver complex project solutions

"A) Develop and implement procurement strategies for project-specific materials and services, covering pre-order and post-order phases, and ensuring alignment with engineering requirements and project timelines.
B) Prepare and manage RFQs for complex technical scopes, including integration solutions (e.g., e-house), with various equipment such as UPS and MV products, as well as field services.
C) Collaborate closely with Commodity Managers to align project procurement activities with overall category strategies and cost optimization goals.
D) Evaluate and pre-select suppliers based on technical capability, cost competitiveness, quality standards, and compliance with project specifications in close collaboration with the Commodity Manager.
E) Support the Commodity Manager in the review and negotiation of commercial terms with suppliers to secure favorable PO-specific agreements and mitigate risks (covering all project-specific suppliers, including Field Services subcategories such as contingency-worker companies).
F) Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery of goods and services.
G) Manage supplier onboarding and qualification for project-specific vendors, including field service providers and integration partners.
H) Monitor supplier performance during project execution, addressing issues related to delivery, quality, and contractual obligations.
I) Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and standardization of procurement practices.
J) Ensure compliance with SCM policies and documentation standards, maintaining accurate records in systems and project databases.                                                     K) Coordinate with Operational Buyers for transactional execution.                                                                                                                                                                                          L) Leveraging EBS tools, Continuous Improvement techniques, change management methodologies and best practices to identify issues, propose solutions, drive support-corrective actions, and measure results   "    

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in procurement for complex engineering projects in hyperscale or industrial environments.

Skills:

Understanding of electrical/mechanical systems and integration requirements.                                 Experience in program management, deploying and coordinating the standard utilization of various tools and processes.
"Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
A successful candidate for this position should have a track record of leading and/or participating in successful, complex change management efforts, preferably cross-functional, cross-businesses and/or –regions."
