We are seeking an experienced Senior Welding Engineer to support a large offshore energy development project in Indonesia. This role will serve as the welding technical authority, overseeing welding activities across fabrication, construction, and installation phases.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage WPS, WPQR/PQR, and welder qualifications
• Ensure compliance with ASME, ISO, AWS, and project specifications
• Provide welding engineering support to fabrication yards and offshore sites
• Interface with QA/QC, NDT, and inspection teams
• Resolve welding technical issues, repairs, and deviations
• Review welding documentation and final dossiers

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Welding Engineering
• 12+ years welding engineering experience in Oil & Gas / Offshore EPC projects
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section IX, ISO 15614 / 9606, ISO 3834, AWS D1.1
• Experience with FPSO, offshore platforms, topsides, or pipelines
• With IWE / CSWIP / AWS certification is a strong advantage
• Fluent in English
