Job Description
Interim Asset Manager
at Sunrock
Hamburg
Looking to join a company that's making a difference? Sunrock delivers clean energy to more than 636.000 people and has more than 1 GWp in development, with even bigger plans for the future.
Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for a temporary colleague to support the team during this peak period.
The Asset Management Team
The Asset Management team at Sunrock is responsible for managing our solar PV portfolio to maximize performance and long-term value, while ensuring compliance with agreements with all stakeholders.
In practice, this means we oversee the safe and optimal performance of our solar installations. Our current portfolio consists of 300 assets with over 600 MW of installed capacity. Most of our assets are rooftop installations, and we are continuously expanding into battery storage and smart energy solutions. Our systems are remotely managed and installed on customer or third-party properties, making Asset Management the central link between contractors, real estate owners, tenants, and public authorities.
Your Role as Asset Manager
As an Asset Manager, you act as the key link between Sunrock and its stakeholders, including building owners, their tenants, contractors, and energy suppliers. You build strong relationships, align different interests, and ensure that our solar installations operate safely and perform optimally. Acting as the main point of contact, you understand stakeholder needs and translate them into effective solutions that work for both the client and Sunrock. You take a proactive approach to communication, build trust, and continuously look for ways to improve collaboration and performance. At the same time, you safeguard Sunrock’s commercial and operational interests, ensuring adherence to contracts and performance standards.

Ensure contractors deliver according to agreed standards and timelines;
Oversee contractual agreements and ensure compliance with KPIs;
Coordinate across technical, and operational teams;
