The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Project Engineer (Level 4) on the MS&B Engineering team located in Tukwila, WA or Everett, WA. This position reports to the MS&B Director of Engineer and supports the Engineering leadership team on long-range strategies, organizational goals, and initiatives.
In this role, you will partner and assist the MS&B Director of Engineering; helping to drive organizational strategy, special project leadership, and integration with stakeholders across MS&B Engineering and other MS&B Functions. Also in this role, you will be required to execute standard activities which include analysis of data and trends related to execution and have people interactions. Day-to-day activities will vary. The role requires a high level of organization, self-starting motivation, and relationship management.
Position Responsibilities:
- Works closely with Directors of Engineering for Oklahoma and Puget Sound/San Antonio to enable outcomes in the areas of planning, execution, communication, and operations of the organization.
- Represents Directors of Engineering at BDS, MS&B, Program, and Site leadership meetings, as delegated.
- Supports MS&B priorities across Directors of Engineering and Engineering Capability Leaders including affordability, lean initiatives, and creation/standardization of metrics and dashboards.
- Aggregates and analyzes data throughout the organization to provide insight and actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Develop executive-level presentations and facilitate leadership meetings.
- Coordinates across the MS&B Engineer leadership team through strategic project management and supports operational efficiency of the organization.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 5+ years of engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience working across organizations and cross-functional groups to ensure project coordination, implementation and completion.
- Strong presentation skills and the capability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings.
- Experience using Program Management Best Practices: Configuration Control Board (CCB), Risk, Issue, Opportunity (RIO), Performance Management, Requirements Management, Integrated master scheduling.
- Ability to effectively navigate complexity and ambiguity.
- Experience in a role that required organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects.

Summary pay range: $146,200 - $197,800
