Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Murex Automation Engineer with strong experience in Back Office processes and automated testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in MXTest automation, end-to-end trade lifecycle validation, and a solid understanding of financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using MXTest.
- Perform end-to-end testing across the trade lifecycle—from trade capture to Back Office OSP validations.
- Must have knowledge on SWIFT ISO 20022 messages
- Troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and project discussions.
- Collaborate with business and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Murex testing/automation.
- Strong understanding of:
- Back Office operations
- SWIFT confirmations
- Trade lifecycle management
- Hands-on expertise in MXTest automation framework.
- Experience in E2E testing within Murex environments.
- Basic working knowledge of:
- SQL
- Unix/Linux
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Nice to Have (Optional)
- Experience in financial services domain (especially capital markets).
Exposure to Agile delivery models.
