Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure that the solutions you deliver are scalable and high-performing, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency.
Develop, customize, and maintain solutions across SharePoint Online using SPFx, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Create and configure SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, pages, content types, branding, and governance controls.
Build SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts and extensions to deliver modern, responsive UI components.
Develop and enhance business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model Driven) integrated with SharePoint and Dataverse.
Automate business workflows and processes using Power Automate, including multi-step, approval, and integration flows.
Create integrations and backend logic using Azure Functions for serverless execution and Logic Apps for workflow-based enterprise integrations.
Utilize REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API for data access, automation, and external system integrations.
Use PowerShell scripting for automation, environment configuration, and SharePoint administration tasks.
Plan and execute SharePoint migrations using ShareGate, including analysis, pre migration planning, migrating lists, libraries, metadata, permissions, and validating post migration consistency.
Troubleshoot migration issues and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
Work with Azure AD app registrations, API permissions, and Key Vault for secure integration design.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and convert functional needs into technical solutions.
Prepare technical documentation, solution design specifications, architecture diagrams, user guides, and deployment documentation.
Provide ongoing support for ServiceNow tickets, including incident resolution, change requests, enhancements, and user assistance.
Support UAT cycles, deployments, release management, and post-deployment stabilization activities.

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online Development.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
