Job Description

You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Universal Pictures transactional digital business—covering Electronic Sell-Through, Transactional Video on Demand, and Pay-Per-View—across APAC.

Working closely with global teams in London and Los Angeles, you’ll collaborate with leading multi-territory platforms such as Amazon, Apple, and Google, as well as regional partners like Astro Malaysia, Chunghwa Taiwan, and NowTV Hong Kong.

Your efforts will strengthen relationships and shape strategies that maximize revenue and deliver meaningful impact.

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

  • Support upcoming film and bundle launches with partners across the region.
  • Ensure timely and successful launch of films and bundles on partners’ platforms.
  • Monitor competitor and industry changes that impact sales performance, and research current entertainment market trends.
  • Develop and pitch promotional activities to partners to generate incremental revenue.
  • Implement promotional price points using third-party systems.
  • Trade marketing support.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks for our team as required.

Please note that this is a full-time 6 month internship opportunity from January to June 2027 for undergraduate students. 

Basic Requirements: 

  • Passion for films and TV shows with an interest in entertainment landscape and digital trends.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Well organised with strong prioritisation skills.
  • Proactive and ability to work independently.
  • A good communicator with an analytical mind and a desire to learn.
  • Able to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs in MS Excel.
  • Basic understanding and use of AI tools.
