
CSA Construction Manager - Industrial
Job Description
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of all CSA construction activities.
- Review IFC drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure constructability and compliance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MEP, QS, HSE, Design, and Operations) to align on project deliverables.
- Manage day-to-day activities of CSA contractors and subcontractors.
- Conduct site coordination meetings, track progress, and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Monitor contractual obligations, performance, and adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee groundworks, foundations, structural steel, concrete works, building envelope, roads, drainage, and architectural finishes.
- Ensure that all construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Validate work done for progress claims and support quantity verification.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure all CSA works meet project standards and Vietnamese building codes.
- Conduct routine inspections and issue non-compliance reports where required.
- Support testing and commissioning activities relevant to CSA scope.
- Enforce safety protocols and participate in HSE audits and toolbox meetings.
- Ensure contractors follow safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Drive a strong safety culture across all work fronts.
- Provide weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Manage change requests, RFIs, technical queries, and site instructions.
- Maintain accurate construction logs, records, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of CSA construction management experience, preferably in large industrial, logistics, or manufacturing projects.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese construction standards, building codes, and permitting processes.
- Proven experience in managing contractors and delivering fast‑track projects.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and construction management tools.
- Ability to work onsite full-time.
