Job Summary:

Supports the organization’s mission through strategic oversight of enterprise-wide workforce initiatives. Drives labor optimization across clinical and non-clinical functions, focusing on scheduling practices, resource utilization, flexible staffing models, and contingent labor support to achieve operational efficiency and alignment with business needs.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as a primary liaison with enterprise stakeholders to ensure alignment on workforce initiatives, including scheduling, resource utilization, and contingent labor management.
  • Designs and implements plans for labor strategies to advance enterprise goals, such as demand forecasting, staffing flexibility, and cost optimization.
  • Leads segments of workforce initiative rollouts to promote adoption and sustainability across the organization.
  • Assesses and validates opportunities for labor efficiency, including reducing reliance on external resources through internal solutions.
  • Owns and refines documentation of workforce workflows, processes, and analytics, tracking key metrics like utilization rates, spend, and ROI.
  • Partners on training, onboarding, and change management to support workforce strategy implementation.
  • Provides data-driven insights and recommendations for the overall workforce portfolio, including contingent staffing integration.
  • Directs stakeholder requests toward operational improvements in labor management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Nursing, or a related field; or or equivalent years of experience and education


EXPERIENCE

  • Three years’ experience in workforce management, healthcare operations, or a related field, with demonstrated progressive responsibility in labor strategy, contingent staffing, or resource optimization


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
