Job Description
The Houseperson (Lobby Attendant) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of the hotel’s public and common areas in accordance with Marriott brand standards. This part-time position is scheduled for approximately 28 hours per week and includes two 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shifts and two 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM shifts.
Responsibilities include maintaining lobby and common areas, cleaning and monitoring the parking lot and exterior areas, delivering guest-requested items to rooms, assisting with event and meeting space setup, removing trash, replenishing supplies, and supporting the housekeeping and operations teams as needed. Team members are expected to provide excellent guest service, respond promptly to manager requests, and complete additional duties as directed by hotel management. Candidates should be dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable performing physical tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
