Details of the Division and Team:
The FIC Asia Structuring team is part of the Investment Bank. The team works closely with coverage and trading in identifying opportunities and providing solutions for clients.

Your key responsibilities:
Enable and facilitate Core Rates business within FIC Asia Structuring team
Will be expected to drive the product strategy and be involved in execution for his/her business area
Will work closely with Sales and Trading and helps deliver tailored structured products/solutions/platforms to clients, in line with the specified needs and in alignment with the strategy of the Bank
Will develop solutions based on a good understanding of the client’s needs (e.g. risk appetite, time horizon, coupon level and/or frequency; basket composition, tax schemes) and may participate in client meetings along with Sales/Coverage to advise on the key features of the structured product and help close a deal
Provide idea generation, pricing and pitch related support for sales
New business development
Provide analytical and structuring support to rest of FIC Asia Structuring team
Your skills and experience:
Minimum of 5 years previous relevant experience within various role capacity inclusive of:
Structuring / Quant / Market Risk / Modelling / Pricing/ Risk Products / Trading background within Investment Banking or Insurance sector Sales and Research experience
Strong proven experience combined with direct market, regulatory or accounting knowledge in Insurance.
Professional or educational experience or internship within Finance / Mathematics / Computing background
Strong quantitative skills, programming knowledge
Previous technical background would be advantageous – pricing of Interest Rates products, derivatives, and possible coding experience Python, C++
Quick learner, with the ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
Good communication skills
Team player, willing to contribute to the broader team
