Translation Project Assistant
Job Description
Overview:
The Project Assistant assist with administrative duties and help out with partial portions of translation projects assigned to Project Coordinators and Project Managers.
Position responsibilities:
Organizing documents
Scanning hard copies on to the network
Creating spreadsheets (Bates number list)
Monitoring distribution lists and addressing any project discrepancies
Dealing with a high volume of e-mails
Downloading reports and tracking relevant data
Filling out daily trackers
Performing other special projects or duties when required
Completing all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
Essential skills and experience required:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar position in corporate environment
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, other languages would be an asset
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar position in corporate environment
Detail orientation with the ability to multitask
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows)
Familiar with CAT tools
Interested in AI and technologies
