
Territory Manager - Northern Michigan
Job Description
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory growth goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Northern Michigan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, engineers, municipalities, and commercial customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and project estimates in collaboration with internal teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with personnel to ensure outstanding customer service and project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
Other Skills, Abilities, Licenses, or Certifications
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record required
- Ability to lift and transport 50 lbs. of product samples and promotional materials
- Comfortable using CRM tools, mobile apps, and Microsoft Office
- Must be open to regular travel, including overnight stays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, construction, or related field preferred
- 2-4 years of sales experience in construction, landscape, or hardscape industries preferred
- Hands-on field service, contracting, or installation experience a plus
