Job Description
Hatchery Truck Driver
Full Time – Hourly
Must possess a current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no restrictions & current DOT medical exam certificate
- Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Job Responsibilities:
- Delivery of day-old turkey poults to various company and contract turkey farms
- Driving to pick up egg racks from farms and hatcheries.
- Maintain accurate mileage and driver's logs
- General maintenance on the truck including inspections, fueling, cleaning, sanitizing
- Being able to push 1,000 lb egg racks on wheels.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
- Follow all biosecurity guidelines
- Conduct self in a positive, team oriented manner
Minimum Qualifications:
- Have a current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Posses a current medical card
- At least 21 years old
- Be able to read, write and communicate in the English Language
- Have 1 year or more of verifiable professional driving experience or be able to provide a certificate from an accredited driver training program
- Have an acceptable driving record
- You must not have had an OWI conviction in the past 5 years or have one now pending
- Good communication and customer service skills
