Job Summary

As the Global Strategic Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for Cables, Connectors and Wires (CCW Category). Develops and manages allocated supply base to optimize procurement activities. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities. Ensures compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sourcing activities.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Leading the development and execution of strategic sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction and supplier performance objectives.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
• Conducting thorough market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
• Understanding the technical and business strategic requirements and able to translate in supplier strategy and supplier management.
• Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitoring supplier performance and manages supplier relationships to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations in all sourcing activities.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members in procurement best practices and sourcing strategies.
• Executing of the commodity strategy, execution of supply base strategy and supplier strategy.
• New supplier scouting, selection in NPDL (New Product Development) phase and early supplier involvement
• Leading tender generation and review process for the assigned scope in the NPDL phase.
• Ensuring that all Supplier related risks are controlled and mitigated and reviewing the compliance of the suppliers in the assigned scope regarding the Supplier quality, Supplier Sustainability and Supplier Development KPI's.
• Supporting procurement excellence (Value Engineering, DfX conventions, supplier development etc.) within the assigned scope.
• Driving mid- and long-term price forecast for assigned suppliers.

Critical Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Mechanical combined with Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement in electrical / connectors category, with a focus on supplier negotiation and contract management.
• Outstanding negotiations skills
• Strong ability in managing internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in global role
