As a Senior Medical Director at ICON, you will develop and lead a team focused on providing radiation dosimetry services for clinical trials. You will be responsible for developing systems and processes for the interpretation and analysis of serial SPECT, PET, and nuclear medicine scintigraphy images for the purpose of assessing absorbed radiation dose in specific target regions in trials related to radioligand therapy. You will also be expected to provide leadership in other aspects of nuclear medicine, including protocol development, document review, and study oversight.
What You Will Do:
You will direct medical affairs activities within the area of nuclear medicine in general and radiation dosimetry in particular, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing scientific leadership and strategic guidance for clinical development programs.
Designing and implementing image acquisition protocols in nuclear medicine, ensuring adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
Overseeing radiation safety activities and ensuring patient safety throughout the clinical trial process.
Analyzing and interpreting clinical trial data to inform decision-making and regulatory submissions.
Collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to achieve clinical development goals.
Your Profile:
You will bring significant experience in medical physics and nuclear medicine, with demonstrated experience specifically in radiation dosimetry.
Required qualifications and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent, with work and research experience in nuclear medicine and radiation dosimetry.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research, preferably with significant experience in a leadership role.
Substantial experience working with OLINDA or similar dosimetry assessment software packages.
Strong communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
