Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Define and implement the commercial procurement strategy for Madrid Mill in coordination with the Fiber Supply Manager.
  • Ensure a stable and competitive supply of recovered fiber and raw materials, aligned with the mill’s operational, quality, and volume requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, waste management companies, traders, and key market stakeholders.
  • Identify and attract new suppliers and business opportunities in both domestic and export markets.
  • Conduct market analysis and monitor industry trends, pricing movements, availability, and competitive landscape.
  • Perform data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, operational efficiencies, and supply chain synergies.
  • Negotiate purchase prices and commercial agreements with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and contractual compliance.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, and Mill teams to ensure smooth material flows and alignment between procurement and production needs.
  • Manage and follow up on orders, claims, incidents, and supplier-related issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support the commercialization and sale of secondary materials such as paper, plastics, and metals when required.
  • Ensure accurate reporting, administrative support, and maintenance of procurement-related documentation and KPIs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing, logistics, and operational processes.
