Senior Trust Relationship Manager (80-100%)
Private Clients – Wealth Planning
Lombard Odier Trust (Bermuda) Limited is seeking a Senior Trust Relationship Manager (STRM) to oversee a portfolio of international private client structures. This role combines client relationship management, trust administration oversight, and team coordination within a multicultural environment, ensuring high fiduciary, regulatory, and governance standards.
YOUR ROLE
Client Relationship & Trust Administration
- Act as primary contact for a portfolio of international private client structures.
- Manage relationships with clients, advisors, family offices, and internal stakeholders across jurisdictions.
- Oversee daily administration activities (distributions, transactions, resolutions, bank relationships, reviews, regulatory reporting such as CRS/FATCA).
- Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Review financial statements, maintain accurate records, and monitor client billing.
- Support business development, onboarding, and risk assessment processes.
Governance & Operations
- Contribute to reporting, audits, risk monitoring, and fiduciary strategy.
- Maintain and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Monitor KPIs, fee governance, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and represent the business in committees and industry forums.
Senior & Team Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and oversight on complex trust matters.
- Support work allocation, team coordination, and service delivery quality.
- Identify and manage operational and fiduciary risks.
- Mentor team members and promote best practices, strong compliance culture, and consistent service standards.
YOUR PROFILE
- TEP qualification (or equivalent) with 10+ years’ experience in trust administration or fiduciary services.
- Strong exposure to UHNW private clients and private banking environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex international client relationships with diplomacy and sound judgment.
- Solid understanding of fiduciary structures, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong organisational, communication, and commercial skills.
- Fluent in English.
Additional skills (minimum three)
- French proficiency
- Wealth/tax planning or corporate secretary experience
- Knowledge of Viewpoint or similar systems
- Exposure to audit, compliance, or governance committees
- Experience in process improvement or transformation initiatives
- Strong cultural awareness and international exposure
- Expertise in governance, dispute resolution, or presentation of complex topics
