Job Overview:

As part of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and curb appeal of the property while delivering outstanding service to guests and visitors.

As a Groundskeeper for our extended-stay hotel, you will be responsible for maintaining the landscaping, exterior grounds, and common outdoor areas of the property with a strong emphasis on accountability, safety, and guest satisfaction. You will work closely with the management and maintenance teams to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and inviting for guests, visitors, and team members.

This position may occasionally provide support at nearby properties within the portfolio, including assisting with groundskeeping and general property upkeep as business needs arise.

Work Schedule: This position requires weekend availability. The regular schedule includes Wednesday and Thursday as the designated days off.

Essential Functions (including but are not limited to):

• Take ownership of groundskeeping tasks and ensure they are completed efficiently and to company standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and visitors.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including walkways, parking lots, entryways, outdoor gathering spaces, and other guest-facing areas.
• Remove litter, debris, pet waste, and other hazards from the grounds to promote a positive guest experience.
• Monitor exterior areas for safety concerns and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with maintenance team members to address landscaping-related maintenance issues and safety hazards.

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in groundskeeping, preferably in a hotel or multifamily housing environment. 
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering legendary service to residents. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform groundskeeping tasks, including lifting, bending, and kneeling, for extended periods. 
• Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, squat, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and navigate uneven surfaces, stairs, sidewalks, and parking areas.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and groundskeeping equipment.
