As a Claims handler you will, among other things:

  • Handle Cargo claims from our Business Partners within the area of Road transport in an independent way, by gathering all information needed, using our claims system to document and finalizing the claims with a decision and by that being an important service partner within DHL
  • Communicate both internal and external with partners, customers and our sub-contractors/carriers, providing a professional and efficient relationship with them
  • Follow up on existing claims in your own portfolio, to ensure quality meets our target
  • Have the responsibility to support our Business Partners with deeper insights into claims insight on customer level, helping them understand claims pattern and how to work proactively to reduce future claims.

To apply for the job, you:

  • Have minimum 2 years of experience in Claims handling/Insurance management and/or Shipping/transport industry.
  • Have experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Like to work independent, but still be part of a team where all support each other
  • Have high energy, and you are constantly challenging yourself to develop
  • Are fluent in Danish or Scandinavian (both written and spoken) and good at English
  • Are used to work in an IT-environment with different systems, including Microsoft Office
