Job Description

What you get to do:

  • Consistently model appropriate professional and leadership behavior adhering to all company and department policies and procedures
  • Collect, transport, and dispose of waste and recyclable materials throughout the park in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain cleanliness standards by servicing trash receptacles and ensuring guest areas remain presentable at all times
  • Operate refuse equipment and vehicles in accordance with safety guidelines and operational procedures
  • Monitor waste levels and proactively respond to high-volume areas to prevent overflow and maintain park appearance
  • Support overall park operations by assisting with cleanliness-related requests and special projects as needed
  • Must be comfortable operating heavy equipment in a safe and controlled manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by department in addition to maintaining normal operations responsibilities

What it takes to succeed:

  • 18 + years old, not in high school.
  • Available to work overnight shifts between the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Required forklift experience. Valid certification a plus but not needed.
  • Need to be able to pass forklift training.

  • Have a working knowledge of the Park Quality department
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Highly motivated department role model
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to both ambassadors and guests
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
  • Available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include working primarily overnight shifts, as well as weekends and holidays
