
Principal, Trade Transformation - Global
Job Description
Enable global E2E capabilities to support trade with forward looking technologies (30%)
Design and document standardized processes, tools, and ways of working that improve consistency, compliance, transparency, and scalability across factories, regions, and global teams.
Support trade transformation initiatives including labeling, traceability, RFID, classification, compliance processes, reporting, and factory connectivity as assigned.
Monitor implementation performance, adoption, risks, and issue resolution to ensure solutions are executed efficiently and sustained after launch.
Drive automation, digitization, AI enablement, and process optimization (20%)
Assess manual, fragmented, or inefficient processes and develop future-state solutions that simplify work, increase visibility, and enable scalable global capabilities.
Define and advance digital solutions, automation opportunities, AI and machine learning use cases, and data-enabled capabilities that maximize value across the supply chain.
Establish measurable outcomes, adoption plans, and governance routines to ensure new capabilities are embedded into day-to-day operations and deliver expected benefits.
Build business cases and secure stakeholder alignment (10%)
Translate operational opportunities into clear problem statements, solution options, financial impacts, resource needs, risks, and implementation recommendations.
Develop executive-ready presentations and business cases to gain cross-functional alignment and secure approval from regional and global leadership teams.
Influence stakeholders in a matrix environment by connecting strategic priorities, operational realities, and measurable business value.
Lead global supply chain transformation projects and programs (20%)
Identify, prioritize, and lead complex global transformation opportunities that improve supply chain performance, reduce cost, increase speed, and strengthen operational consistency across regions.
Own assigned functionality and projects from opportunity identification through business case development, approval, implementation, stabilization, and hyper care.
Partner with Global CoE teams and regional stakeholders to align priorities, define success measures, remove barriers, and deliver sustainable process improvements.
Deliver project execution, reporting, and continuous improvement (20%)
Manage multiple transformation projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, timelines, dependencies, stakeholders, and deliverables with strong project discipline.
Develop dashboards, reporting, metrics, and progress updates that provide visibility to leadership and enable data-driven decisions.
Benchmark best practices, identify gaps, challenge the status quo, and step in directly when needed to resolve issues, drive adoption, and deliver measurable results.
