Job Description
- Drive material and supply chain readiness to ensure a clear-to-build status for data center equipment.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, and category managers to deliver equipment and drive process improvements, including optimizing existing systems and creating new frameworks for material and production management to grow the team's scale and capability.
- Serve as the primary supply chain liaison, managing supplier commitments, production schedules, and purchase orders (PO). Create, successfully manage, and institutionalize new processes and frameworks around the end-to-end supply chain.
- Manage equipment inventory, strategic material commitments, risk buys to mitigate excess/shortage risk. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, reducing lead times, and increasing global capacity.
- Develop and document the regional supply chain map for products, detailing aspects from procurement to spares strategies, and represent the equipment supply chain organization in internal program meetings.
