Position Overview: The HR Manager provides guidance and support to a designated business unit to execute HR strategies and enable the accomplishment of business objectives. Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to managers as well as provides assistance to employees when questions or issues arise. Will partner with leadership and managers to develop workforce plans, communicate processes and policies, and implement initiatives that support employee engagement and productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Aligning HR strategies with overall business goals and providing decision support through HR metrics.
- Reviewing and updating HR policies when necessary to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and develop talent within the division to ensure robust succession plans.
- Plan, monitor and appraise HR activities by resolving employee grievances, training managers in how to coach and discipline, and counseling employees and supervisors.
- Communicate and support relevant HR initiatives such as policies, programs, compensation strategies and benefits in order to foster a positive work environment.
- Consult with divisional leaders on the alignment of job descriptions with accurate duties and responsibilities to create intentionality during the recruitment process.
- Conduct workplace investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reporting findings.
- Inform and ensure that the organization adheres to all relevant labor laws and regulations.

Education and Experience:
- BS/BA in Human Resources, Social Sciences, and/or equivalent experience in an HR role.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and federal and state respective employment laws.
