National Projects Coordinator

About the Role:  The National Projects Coordinator is responsible for the execution, oversight, and sustainment of mission-critical Damage Prevention and Damage Recovery operations across Uniti’s network. This role carries out day-to-day tasks and assignments that are critical to accomplishing goals and hitting targets set by departmental leadership. This individual operates with a high degree of independence, initiative, and integrity. This individual must make sound business decisions, exhibit great diligence & follow-through, and resolve or escalate issues appropriately. This position supports & enables the Senior National Projects Coordinator and other leadership to focus on strategy, long-term vision, and overall success of Uniti’s Damage Prevention and Recovery program.  What You Will Do: Fundamental knowledge of OSP & ISP network construction and maintenance standards.   A/QC of DIRT reports and Salesforce records integrity pertaining to Damage Recovery claims.  Administration of the 3rd party locate vendor invoice review and escalation process.  Execution and optimization of all established Damage Prevention and Damage Recovery processes.   Able to manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent organization and documentation.  Facilitates positive relationships with internal employees, vendors, and contractors that are critical to departmental success.  Monitors inbound communications to the Damage Prevention email distro and directs traffic accurately in a timely manner.   Maintains multiple databases that are essential to Damage Prevention & Damage Recovery programs.  Data collection from internal teams & contractors as needed by Uniti’s 3rd party Damage Recovery partners in the claims process.  Provides data & reporting used by the Damage Prevention team to provide guidance and support to operational leadership as it relates to Damage Prevention & Damage Recovery.  Consults with in-house asset protection managers to provide data and guidance for headcount considerations.    Do You Have:   Bachelor’s Degree or 3 to 5 years of experience in telecommunications preferred.  Proficiency in Salesforce, ESRI, Google Earth and Microsoft Office required.  Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, and communicate effectively.  Experience and thorough understanding of all disciplines of OSP network operations.  Experience producing & analyzing large data sets.  Demonstrated capacity for managing shifting priorities while maintaining high quality and quantity of output in all assignments.  Ability to work multiple tasks in a stressful environment while maintaining a positive and pleasant manner with others.  Ability to handle a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.  Ability to travel up to 20%.  Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.    Physical Tasks- Standing Occasionally: 0-33% | Walking Occasionally: 0-33% |Sitting Continuously: 67-100% Driving: Car: Frequently: 34-66% | Climbing: Occasionally: 0-33% |Bending: Occasionally: 0-33% | Crouching: Occasionally: 0-33% | Pushing – Pulling: Occasionally: 0-33% | Carrying: Occasionally: 0-33% | Reaching Above Head: Occasionally: 0-33% Lowering >1-15 lbs: Occasionally: 0-33% | >15-30 lbs: Occasionally: 0-33% | >30 lbs: Occasionally: 0-33% Repetitive Hand Action: >Medium Dexterity: Continuously: 67-100% | >Fine Manipulating: Frequently: 34-66% |Operate Foot Control: Frequently: 34-66%  Audio Visual Needs - Hearing: Continuously: 67-100%| Near Vision: Continuously: 67-100%| Far Vision: Occasionally: 0-33% |Peripheral Vision: Occasionally: 0-33%| Depth Perception: Occasionally: 0-33% | Color Discrimination: Continuously: 67-100%  Equipment Used in Job Performance/Working Environment: Computer, Printer, Fax, Telephone, Basic Office Supplies, Copier, Vehicle  Exposures to: Cold: Occasionally: 0-33% | Heat: Occasionally: 0-33% | Dampness: Occasionally: 0-33% | Heights: Occasionally: 0-33% | Vibration: Occasionally: 0-33% | Skin Irritants: Occasionally: 0-33% | Lung Irritants: Dust: Occasionally: 0-33% | Fumes/Gases: Occasionally: 0-33%
