About the role
As a WTG Inspector (with GWO Certification) at Bureau Veritas S.A.', you will be responsible for conducting inspections and maintenance on wind turbine generators (WTGs) in Laguna, Calabarzon. This is a full-time position that requires expertise in the mining, resources and energy sector, specifically in wind turbine engineering and maintenance.
What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive inspections of wind turbine generators to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
Identifying and reporting any mechanical, electrical or structural issues with the WTGs
Performing routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating components, replacing worn parts and cleaning turbine blades
Providing detailed inspection reports and recommendations for remedial work
Collaborating with the engineering and maintenance teams to address any identified problems
Adhering to all health, safety and environmental protocols
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as a WTG inspector or in a similar role within the mining, resources and energy sector
Possession of a valid Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certification
Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine generator systems and components
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Good written and verbal communication skills to prepare detailed inspection reports
Willingness to work in a field-based environment and adhere to safety protocols
