Job Overview:
Project Engineer is responsible for partnering with TMHNA dealers and Regional Solutions offices to design and develop material handling system solutions that deliver value to customers. This role leverages material handling equipment (MHE) knowledge and industry experience to provide technical guidance, develop system recommendations, and support sales efforts, positioning TMHNA dealers and Regional Solutions offices to successfully win opportunities and meet customer operational needs
Job Functions:
- Time will be spent primarily on system design and providing expertise on material handling systems
- Assist with AutoCAD drawings, quotes, and other general design responsibilities
- Work directly with TMHNA dealers on TAL Conveyor system opportunities, making recommendations on equipment and design details
- Work directly with Regional Solutions offices to lead or assist with quoting and system design on regional opportunities
- Develop in depth understanding of all facets of material handling to include equipment, suppliers, and applications
- Assist Regional Engineer Advisor with project design & review, engineering process & standardization and training & development activities
Travel Requirements:
- 5% travel to customer sites or regional offices
Required Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required - Mechanical, Industrial, Systems disciplines preferred.
- 3 - 5+ years’ experience with demonstrated expertise in material handling / solution design solution sales experience a plus
- Strong comprehension of industrial floorplans
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications
- Outstanding demonstrated performance in previous career path
- Ability to coach and mentor employees
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Expert in AutoCAD and conveyor drawing software
- Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
