Responsibilities
Based in London, the International Finance team is responsible for the financial, regulatory and tax reporting requirements for all of PJT’s non-US operating entities spanning the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our Revenue, Treasury & Analytics (RT&A) team and support the growing PJT international footprint in a fast-paced environment. This role offers broad exposure across geographies and PJT business units and will contribute across the breadth of the Finance function, with a particular focus on Revenue, Treasury & Analytics (RT&A).
Responsibilities include:
Revenue: Supporting revenue recognition and close processes including stakeholder coordination across international entities
Assist with month-end close activities including preparing revenue, credit risk, and AR journal entries
Support revenue recognition decisions in collaboration with Deal Teams and COO offices, helping to assess fee structures and recognition timing
Ensure adherence to SOX controls for revenue processes, including maintaining documentation and testing support
Contribute to US and Local GAAP revenue disclosures for quarterly and annual filings
Treasury: Supporting liquidity and FX management, banking operations, and intercompany settlements for the international entities
Help monitor and create visibility of liquidity and FX positions across international entities
Assist with intercompany funding flows and cross-entity settlements, maintaining accurate records and audit trails
Support day-to-day banking operations including account administration and signatory updates
Contribute to capital and cash flow forecasting for entity-level liquidity planning
Analytics: Preparing financial materials for intentional entity Board meetings, Operating Committees, and senior leadership
Prepare financial packs and supporting analysis for Board meetings, OpCo sessions, Treasury Committee meetings and Tax forecasting
Assist COO offices with entity-level business and financial forecasting
Help maintain going concern forecasting models for international entities
Support the firm’s finance transformation agenda, including process automation and AI adoption initiatives within RT&A
Qualifications
We seek to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and are proven self-starters. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively, and a desire to work in a team environment.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualified experience, ideally within financial services
Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and month-end close processes
Experience with cashflow and capital forecasting; experience with treasury management preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills, a bias to action and proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
