General Responsibilities
· Provide operational delivery of core HR functions across all 1-Experience companies.
· Work with the CPO to build HR functionality across the 1-Experience Group and deliver corporate strategies and business plans.
· Provide subject matter expertise on HR matters to employees and managers.
· Manage and contribute to key employee lifecycle activities.
Employee Relations
· Act as primary point of contact for employees and managers on employee relations queries, providing clear advice and guidance.
· Manage and support employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation.
· Carry out workplace investigations, producing robust written reports.
Performance Management
· Monitor, report on, and contribute to the achievement of HR KPIs.
· Collaborate with managers and employees to embed a performance management and learning culture throughout the organisation.
· Provide guidance to managers on development plans and performance improvement processes.
Recruitment & Onboarding
· Manage internal talent acquisition activity, including job design, sourcing strategy, interviewing, and offer management.
· Partner with hiring managers to ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience.
· Design and continuously improve the onboarding experience to drive early engagement and retention.
HRIS & Data
· Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of data within the HRIS.
· Act as system super-user and oversee core HR administration functions.
· Use HR data to produce reports with associated insights and practical or strategic recommendations.
· Support the DPO with GDPR UK and EU related queries and requests.
· Support the production of Equality Commission reports.
Governance
· Lead on the design, delivery, and maintenance of HR-related ISO procedures.
· Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with current UK employment legislation.
· Ensure GDPR compliance across all people-related data handling and recordkeeping.
· Monitor legislative developments and communicate relevant implications to the business.
Learning & Development
· Work with the Training Director to ensure all mandatory and good-practice HR training is delivered to relevant staff.
· Design, deliver, and contribute to relevant training interventions and updates as required.
People Management
· Provide management, leadership, development, and guidance to direct reports within the HR team.
Wellbeing & Engagement
· Play an active role in supporting and leading employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
· Work with the ESG team to develop and implement initiatives for 1-Experience staff.
Culture
· Help build, measure, and maintain a strong organisational culture.
· Promote and embed company values across the business.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years' experience as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner within an organisation of 100+ employees.
· CIPD Level 5 qualification minimum, or a Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources.
· Proven operational experience across a broad range of HR disciplines.
· Strong experience in both using and configuring an HRIS.
· Experience producing HR reports with associated insights and strategic recommendations.
· Sound knowledge of UK employment law.
Desirable Skills & Experience
· Experience providing HR support in an international non-UK context.
· Experience delivering multi-site HR support.
Experience working within a Shared Services HR model.
