Job Description

Senior Engineering Program Manager, Cloud Services

The Opportunity

Join Adobe as a Senior Program Manager in Hamburg/Germany and take a central role in shaping the cloud platform that powers Document Cloud, Creative Cloud, and the wider Adobe ecosystem. As part of the Adobe Cloud Platforms and Collaboration (ACPC) team, you will drive execution across a broad portfolio of platform programs and initiatives spanning multi-region expansion, enterprise enablement, content lifecycle and storage, cross-product integrations, AI infrastructure, agentic experiences, GenAI capabilities, and security and compliance.

This role is positioned with significant scope from day one and a clear runway to grow into broader strategic ownership over time. You will own meaningful slices of the portfolio independently, partner closely with senior engineering and product leaders, and shape how a high-visibility platform organization delivers at Adobe scale.

You will bring strong execution discipline, clear communication, and the curiosity to operate in a complex, fast-moving environment. If you are energized by turning complexity into clarity, working data-first, and driving measurable outcomes across modern cloud platforms, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

  • Own significant ACPC platform programs and initiatives end-to-end, from planning through delivery, including risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder alignment.

  • Partner with senior engineering and product leaders to shape priorities, surface trade-offs, and influence direction across the platform roadmap.

  • Drive execution across high-impact platform workstreams including multi-region expansion, enterprise enablement, content lifecycle and storage, AI infrastructure and agentic experiences, GenAI features, cross-product integrations, and regulatory compliance.

  • Drive clarity and alignment on scope, timelines, and success metrics across dependencies.

  • Identify risks early and propose practical solutions to maintain delivery confidence.

  • Where needed, step in as the de-facto product owner on workstreams, owning delivery outcomes end-to-end.

  • Produce executive-ready status and program updates for ACPC leadership and partner organizations.

  • Champion program governance and rigor across the team, contributing to scalable practices and frameworks.

  • Apply AI and automation to improve program monitoring, status reporting, and repetitive operations.

  • Grow into broader scope and deeper impact over time as you build a track record in the team.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 7+ years of experience in Technical or Engineering Program Management, with cloud platform or infrastructure exposure.

  • Proven track record of independently driving engineering programs across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Data-centric and outcome-driven. Comfortable using data and analytics to inform program decisions, set priorities, and measure impact.

  • Working knowledge of one or more cloud platform domains: storage and content lifecycle, multi-region infrastructure, identity and enterprise enablement, AI infrastructure and AI/ML platforms, agentic experiences, cross-product integrations, or security and compliance.

  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tooling and agentic workflows, with the ability to apply them to platform program work and to your own program management practice.

  • Comfort taking on product management responsibilities; some programs require driving delivery outcomes directly, not only coordinating engineering.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including comfort engaging Director-level partners.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and shape clarity where none exists.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Fluency in English. German is a plus, not a requirement.

  • Growth mindset and experience applying AI and automation to improve program execution.
