JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full Time Housekeeper/House-person
- Works Evening shift. 3pm-11pm
- Weekends Required.
- Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including guest rooms who have LATE Check-outs, all 4 public restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards
- Cleans public bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors
- Empties all trash
- Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
- Clean Guest rooms on an “As-Needed” basis. Example- Early C/O, Late C/O, Guest complaint, Room Moves
- Report to supervisor on duty any needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
- May assist with other duties as assigned.
- Push & pull Carts weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and or pulling items up to 75 pounds
- Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
- Frequently handling cleaning objects and equipment to maintain the facility
- Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling,
- Ensure that rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company-mandated standards
- Ensures that rooms have clean linen, bedding and towels
- Understands and follows all safety and security procedures as mandated by the hotel
- Ensures that rooms are stocked with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, etc.
- Identify items that guests have left behind and report items utilizing hotel's lost and found procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be able to stand majority of shift, bend, push, and/or lift up to 25-35 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Team player
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests
- Knowledge of cleanliness standards
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in Housekeeping role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally

- Ability to exceed expectations of guests
