Palletizer Operator

The palletizer is responsible for the set up and operation of the strapper; straps bundles/units of product in a timely manner; attains and attaches load tags to every unit making sure pads are straight and easily available. Ensures all units meet conformity standards (neat in appearance, no noticeable defects, etc.) Makes final quality check of units before they go to Shipping and/or communicate effectively if problems are detected. Cleans and maintains strapper heads; keeps strapper rolls filled; checks for trim in the units. Trains others on all aspects of strapper operation. Keeps work area clean and free of debris; empties dumpster; also perform any other duties as assigned.
