The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.
The impact you’ll make
This position manages the day-to-day operations of the site technology team,including people management. The incumbent will lead the team to providetechnology expertise to support penetration and defense strategies. He/She willmanage technical resources to secure, explore and win application market share.
What you’ll do
- Manage day-to-day operations of Field Process team (Clean/Deposition/Etch)
- Understand key customers’ NAND, DRAM & HBM technology roadmaps,process flow, inflection points, requirements and business challenges
- Identify areas where Lam can value-add with our multiple products/service solutions and identify business opportunities
- Work with Account teams & corporate teams to position and provide these value-added technical solutions
- Develop & maintain good customer relations and assume accountability for continued customer satisfaction with process solutions & execute to all Penetration & Defense projects within committed timeline & resources
- Identify competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and translate these into potential sales opportunities
- Work with Global Product Group, Account Team or Global Account Team to drive technical solutions, present Lam’s technology roadmap and organize & manage new product demonstrations; thereby exerting positive influence oncustomer personnel decision-making complying with Lam's Escalation Policies and resolve escalation with Region Product Support
- Deliver predictable financial results (Eval Opex, Eval turns,direct reports utilization etc.)
- Responsible for the safety of engineers and provide safety training to the engineering team
- Responsible for the competency and development of team through annual performance review exercise (day-to-day work & projects)
- Any other duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with more than 10 years of relevant experiencein semiconductor industry and of which ears of supervisory experience.
- Strong technical knowledge & hands on experience on Clean, Deposition & Etch tools (Preferbly someone with strong knowledge in Deposition or Etch tools)
- Possesses good analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong customer management and project management skills
- Possesses strong inter-personal and communications skills and prior experience in dealing with difficult internal & external stakeholders
- Commands good oral and written English
- Has ability to work on one’s own and make decisions within the assigned area of responsibility

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
