Position Summary

Kiewit is looking for Pipefitter Journeymen with LOTO (Lock out / Tag Out) experience for the Elk Valley Resources Project located in Elkford, BC. 

Requirements

  • Valid Pipefitter Journeyperson ticket
  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of LOTO (Lock out / Tag Out) experience 
  • Valid CSTS, WHMIS certifications are required

Shift information

  • The current schedule is a 14/7 rotation.
  • Minimum 10 hours per day with over time after 6.5 hours daily.
  • Must be willing to work additional overtime.
  • Camp is provided.
  • Rotational Allowance to cover travel costs outside of the travel free radius of 75 km from camp.
  • There is a shuttle bus for the craft that will be flying into the Calgary airport.

Additional Information

  • Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug and Alcohol test, and a 50 lb Fitness to Work test.

Line Creek Operations is located approximately 12 kilometers from the community of Elkford, in southeastern British Columbia. It is one of our four steelmaking coal operations in the Elk Valley operating since 2015.
