The impact of Sourcing Consultant to Coupa:

In this senior delivery role, you will have the opportunity not only in supporting customers in the successful implementation and adoption of Coupa Sourcing Optimization but also to help shape the future support models we will offer to our customers.Your contributions will be instrumental in helping organisations realise the full potential of their spend, enabling them to not only excel financially but also make a positive impact on the world around them.
What You'll Do:
- Lead complex sourcing projects with global enterprises across logistics, direct materials, packaging, and moreāguiding them from data collection to negotiation.
- Design innovative tender strategies using advanced procurement methods, including eAuctions, game theory-driven bid forms, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to maximize customer value and supplier engagement.
- Deliver data-driven insights by running optimization scenarios and analyses that uncover the best sourcing decisions.
- Be the subject matter expert, ensuring a seamless sourcing optimization experience while also training and mentoring colleagues and customers, refining methodologies, and developing impactful training materials.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcingāeither within a procurement or supply chain organization, a consulting firm, a software provider, or through academic expertise in optimization combined with a business discipline.
- A degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, ideally paired with a business-related discipline.
- Proven experience in Sourcing, Category Management, and executing complex sourcing eventsāespecially in Logistics, Raw Materials, Packaging, or other intricate spend categories.
- Skilled in using advanced eSourcing tools for scenario analysis and optimization of award decisions; highly numerate and comfortable performing complex analysis in Excel or other platforms.
- Strong client management capabilities with the ability to lead customers through effective implementation and ensure a successful go-live.
- Consulting experience with Coupa Sourcing Optimization is a strong plus, and a passion for working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment is essential.
