Job Description
- Work closely with hardware design teams and suppliers to understand new project architectures, and determine the appropriate safety standards and regulations
- Apply hazard based safety engineering principles to evaluate the hazards, and provide feedback to the design team to mitigate those hazards
- Develop test plans, lead a compliance testing team to extract key data to ensure all safety goals are met in accordance with relevant standards and specifications, and communicate and document findings, risks and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and implement design improvements to further safety goals
- Perform failure analysis of deployed products. Help in developing strategy and roadmap for Safety initiatives to support power, cooling and data center infrastructure.
