Production Planner

You will be responsible for day-to-day customer contact, working closely with plant personnel (cell leader, team leaders, sales, etc.) to schedule customer orders and respond to customer inquiries Further, you will be required to work with production management to identify and resolve potential impediments to schedules and contribute to determining solutions for out of flow parts, working with engineers, the customer, and production to resolve issues In this position, you will maintain an ongoing relationship with customers including delivery schedules, and issue resolution You will be responsible for maintaining current inventory counts for each of the different steps in the process, utilizing both Oracle as well as physical inventory processes You are the point of contact for customer visits regarding physical inventory counts and WIP reconciliation Also, you will be responsible for data integrity on digital representation of customer part inventory and customer order status
