Role Overview
Fidelia Counseling Services is seeking dedicated Therapeutic Mentors to provide one-on-one, strength-based support to youth. This is a contract position focused on coaching social skills and emotional regulation. We take pride in supporting our local community through culturally sensitive and inclusive care.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Work Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- International Students: We welcome applications from international students, provided they are fully aligned with U.S. government work requirements (such as holding a valid EAD, OPT, or CPT authorization).
- Language Skills: Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged. Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly recommended.
- Transportation: A reliable vehicle is required for community-based work.
- Age: Must be 21 years of age or older
Education:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a human services field (preferred).
Experience
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with children or adolescents.

Key Responsibilities
- Wraparound Collaboration: Work closely with "wraparound" service teams (ICC and Family Partners).
- Community-Based Support: Engage with clients directly in their homes and local communities.
- Inclusive Advocacy: Provide an affirming environment for all youth. We are a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely progress notes per agency standards.

Position Details
- Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099).
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on education and experience.
- Travel: As a contract position, mileage and toll reimbursements are not provided.
