Job Description
Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for patients based on HMNH’s policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements. Responsible for ensuring that the nursing as well as the emotional needs of the patient are adequately met.
Licensure and Certification:
- Current CA RN license
- Current BLS provider card
- Certification in specialty preferred
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
Experience:
- 1 year OR experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to perform circulating nursing skills in the OR
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Problem solving skills
- Basic computer skills
