Warehouse Operator - Casual

SALARY: $20.65 per hour 

SHIFT: 40-hours, every week rotating shifts. 

Shift 1: 7:00am – 3:00pm 

Shift 1: 3:00pm – 11:00pm

OVERTIME ELIGIBILITY: This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable labour laws and pursuant with collective agreement. Overtime is paid at the legally required rate and may vary based on hours worked beyond the standard schedule.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Picking orders while operating an electrical pallet jack and Forklift in a safe effective manner following safe work practices.  

• Shipping and receiving while operating a forklift in a safe effective manner following safe work practices. 

• Must be able to bend, stand, sit and lift up to 50lb’s in a continuous and repetitive manner.  

• Stacking product in rows up to 3 high after receiving into the warehouse.  

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Be of Legal Drinking Age 

• Engage in physical activities and manual labor as requested, including but not limited to prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and bending. 

• Lift object up to 50 lbs. 

• Work on slippery floor. 

• Lift object higher than the shoulders. 

• Operate motorized equipment. 

• Exposure to vibration. 

• Ability to wear all PPE as required: including safety shoes, glasses and a hi-vis vest.,  

• Able to work shift work (Day, afternoons, occasional weekend).
