Job Description

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the application of the Crane Business System throughout the Site by actively leading, facilitating
    and participating in kaizen events to achieve strategic business targets in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Growth
  • Assist in setting the strategic direction of the CBS initiatives and contribute to the formulation of the Kaizen roadmap for the Site to ensure focus on key business issues including the delivery of the winning business models for the product range.
  • Execute the kaizen roadmap for the business in a successful and timely manner and provide on-going
    feedback and progress reports as required to the Leadership and Finance teams to ensure results are seen in the P&L.
  • Publish Kaizen results in the Crane Co e room.
  • Monitor sustainable performance improvements that are directly or indirectly attributed to CBS activities
  • Foster and continuously advocate a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Train, educate and mentor employees in the CBS tools and provide development and training for Kaizen leaders from all areas of the Crane business.
  • Provide ongoing audits to assess progress in the application of the CBS tools.
  • Be a subject matter expert in all CBS training materials.
  • Contribute to the overall management of the Cwmbran business as required.
